What's In My Diaper Bag

I'm probably the biggest over packer there ever was.
Especially when there's a big occasion coming up.
I just hate being under-prepared!
My mother in law is always amazed at how heavy my diaper bag is because it is truly stuffed to the brim with stuff that I just "might" need one day. Ha!
However, I'm always amazed when I see a mom with a little purse and like 3 kids.
Where do you put everything mama?
So, even though you'll probably find many more things crammed into my diaper bag, here are the things I never leave the house without and will help get me through the craziness of the holidays.

1) A water bottle for me. I personally love my Camelback water bottle. I'm still pumping so I'm still REALLY thirsty throughout the day
2) Snacks for Oaklyn. I mostly just pack snacks because they keep her entertained while I'm out running errands or we're eating at a restaurant. My favorites are teething crackers and puffs.
3) A change of clothes for Oaklyn. I haven't really had to use her spare outfits very often but when I do, I'm SO glad I had one on hand! You never know when a diaper blow out is going to occur!
4) Solly Baby Wrap. This is ALWAYS in my bag unless I'm using it. It has come in handy more times than I can count.
5) Changing Pad. I like my Gathre mat but any one works!
6) Toys, toys, and more toys! Oaklyn is such a busy girl! So, I always need backup entertainment. I'm the mom with the Mary Poppins Bag full of toys
7) Pacifiers. At least three. That way if she's fussy and lost her paci in the car I can just reach back there and hand her a new one. We also always have one attached to our Madeline's Box pacifier clip so it won't get lost!
8) Diapers. Obviously... I always make sure I have at least three in my bag at a time. If I notice I'm running low I just grab a few more and stick them in.
9) Huggies Clutch' n' Clean Wipes. These are the best wipes out there! I always have my clutch 'n' clean in my bag and ready to go! There are so many awesome features to these wipes but the best part is that they can easily be taken anywhere. These wipes have been Dermatologically tested, and Mom approved so I feel very good about the wipes I am using on my 8 month old baby.

Huggies Wipes are the #1 branded choice of moms and I completely understand why!
These wipes are so soft on her little bum yet sturdy enough to wipe away the messiest of diapers and clean her up after snacks and meal times.
In the convenience of my own home I have everything I need right in front of me, however when away for holidays and other various occasions you have to improvise.
Since I don't have a washcloth to wipe away all the mess that meals can bring, I am so happy to always have my clutch 'n' clean packed in my diaper bag.

This product can be found at your local CVS in the diaper and wipe aisle.
They come in packs of one, however you are able to use it over and over again!
All you have to do is open up the bag and insert a new package of wipes.

The cases are so stylish and fun and hold just the right amount of wipes.
It doesn't take up too much space in my diaper bag so I have room for everything else I need.
It makes diaper changes on the go so fast and easy which is perfect for how chaotic the holidays can be.

I love that each clutch has this little loop that hangs anywhere and makes it so easy to carry!
I can just put it on my wrist and have my hands free to carry Oaklyn where we need to go to change her.

There you have it!
My diaper bag is obviously stuffed to the brim most times full of random things, but those are my essentials that I never leave without
And if all else fails, make sure you have some food for baby, diapers, and a Huggies Clutch 'n' clean to carry your wipes and you'll be good to go this holiday season!

What are your favorite diaper bag essentials? I would love to hear what you don't leave the house without!

All my love,
Aleigh Joy

  1. The second load wash with regular detergent. Do the same for the third and final wash although add on an extra rinse after. It is recommended to line dry diapers if possible. Vaikiska patalyne
