Tasty Tuesday: Cookies and Cream Pudding Cookies

Tuesday, April 5, 2016

Happy Tasty Tuesday Friends!
Okay, first things first, I'm sorry I've been out of the office so much this past week!
(office = my bed)
I decided to paint two walls last week so they would be done before some family came into town and was a mad woman cleaning up the never ending messes created by my tiny person.
SO... several other "catch up" posts will be happening this week!
One more update... I've entered the periscope world! (I would insert the monkey emoji covering its eyes right now if it were possible because that's exactly how I feel about it ha)
It's equally as fun and exciting as it is terrifying.
So, catch me live over there by clicking this link.
I can't promise I'll always be entertaining... but I do have some fun topics coming up! ;)

Alright, now onto the recipe!
Guys. These cookies are amazing. Like for real. The best.
They are Hunter's fav, well maybe peaunut butter is, but these are up there!
I also made them at Oaklyn's party and had several people ask me for the recipe so I'm finally getting around to posting it!
This recipe is ridiculously easy.
It hardly takes any time and tastes amazing!
One night we turned them into sundaes and my mouth is till watering from that...

Ingredients:

- 1 cup softened salted butter
-1/4 cup white sugar
-1 cup brown sugar
-2 tsp. vanilla
-2 eggs
-1 package Oreo instant pudding mix
-1 tsp. baking soda
-2 1/4 cups flour
-1 cup crushed Oreo cookies

Directions:

1) Cream together the softened butter and sugars with a stand mixer or beaters until light and fluffy.
2) Add vanilla, eggs and the pudding mix and continue mixing.
3) Next add in your baking soda and continue mixing.
4) Start slowly adding in the flour and mix gently.
5) Crush your Oreos in a plastic bag and add them into the batter.
6) Use a small cookie scoop (mine is from Wilton)  to drop dough onto a very lightly greased cookie sheet.
7) Bake your cookies for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees until the sides are slightly golden.
8) Remove the sheet from the oven and transfer cookies over to a wire cooling rack if you have one!

To make the sundae just scoop two scoops of cookies and cream ice cream into a bowl. Then add two cookies on either side. Then spray a generous amount of whipped cream on top of the ice cream! After that, make your own hot fudge or buy the store bought kind and drizzle it over the top. Ta da! That's all! You have a delicious cookies and cream sundae!

I really hope you guys enjoy this recipe!
I love it so much!
Last thing, I'm hopping on Periscope tomorrow during nap time (around 3 pm MST) to teach you all how to curl my hair! Yay! Make sure to view live if you want to ask questions or interact, or catch the replay later!

All my love,
Aleigh Joy
