When everything is up, you gotta take it in.

It was another one of those weeks...
Where it seemed like I had a lot going on at the time, but I look back and can't remember a thing.
Each week brings a new surprise. Another reason to smile.
It's another time to reflect on the blessings you have been given.
I'm so grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life.
People, that's what this week was about.
New ones coming in, and old ones coming back.

On Monday I ate a spinach and cheese breakfast wrap with orange carrot juice while working on my promotion packet. I sat there reviewing what I was learning and felt my anxiety acting up. Getting promoted scares me, its a lot of responsibility I'll be taking on. Its a change, and I've mentioned before how much change frightens me. Then I remembered all the wonderful people supporting me in this process, if they think I can do it. I know I can.

On Wednesday Audrey friend and I went thrift shopping with Sarah Chapman. I love myself a good deal, and might I add that I got all of what is pictured below for $27? Thats correct! Red skinnies, a coat, a lace dress, a pencil skirt, and a flannel. Score.

On Thursday I celebrated Hunter's nine month anniversary of being on his mission. I'm so happy this sweet boy entered my life. He has brought me so much happiness and joy and introduced me to some of my favorite human beings.

On Friday I went to my brother's high school football game. I really enjoyed sitting with my parents and old friend Kayla. Not to mention, brother caught an interception!! Unfortunately the picture came out blurry due to an extreme amount of happiness on my behalf...

On Saturday I had an 8 hour training class for work. I was less than thrilled to go. However, it turned out to be quite fun! I had lunch with the girl I am getting promoted with from my store and we had a chance to bond. During the class I sat with a darling girl and we instantly hit it off. After the class that sweet girl noticed my CTR ring and informed me that she is Mormon as well! We exchanged numbers and planned on meeting up. I love this church and the amazing people in it :) We went to Nothing Bundt Cakes afterwards and I got myself a white chocolate raspberry cake :)

On Sunday, my sunbeams were on one. Goodness were they hyper. But, it was so fun! They bring out the child in me :) Then, Michelle, Logan, and Lando came home! They brought so much happiness with them :)

Sorry for the once again long post. I saw this quote the other day that made me decide I need to be happy with my journey. I need to live for the moment and not dwell on the future. I mean, the future is looking quite promising and exciting... but I still have right now to live for :)
"So often we become so focused on the finish line that we fail to enjoy the journey."
-Dieter F Uchtdorf (aka the man)

Have a great day friends!
All my love,
Aleigh Joy
