Bela Bracelets + Favorite Pinterest Pony Tails

Sunday, October 2, 2016

I think this scenario has happened to all of us girls at least 20 times in our lives...
You have a hair tie around your wrist, then you have to take family pictures, portrait shots, engagements, maternity photos, whatever it may be, and you take your hair tie off to ensure the ugly little black thing on your wrist is out of the picture.
Then, you're out and about and it's burning hot and all you want to do is put your hair up.
But wait... that hair tie you always have around your wrist is now in your other purse back home because you took it off for pictures yesterday!
Ugh, it's seriously the worst!
And, happens to me more than I'd like to admit being that I take pictures very often.
Fun little story: I was wearing a black hair tie in every single one of my engagement photos and no one noticed and told me.
Of course the photo we chose for our announcement had my hair tie front and center and I was so mad!
Luckily we were able to photoshop it out, but that added some extra work.

That's why I was so excited to hear about Bela Bracelets!
These bangles stylishly hide your hair ties for you!
Is that not the neatest thing?
There's a little groove all around the bracelet that makes it so easy to slip your hair tie in and out of.
It holds in place perfectly throughout the day and I was pleasantly surprised about the comfort level because I usually don't like bracelets at all for that reason.
I'm also loving that they have both gold and silver and different styles to choose from.
They are gorgeous and the perfect way to look classy while also carrying around your hair tie!
The only negative thing I have to say is that I'm bummed I didn't think of this concept first ;)

Now on to my favorite Pinterest ponytail styles!
You guys, remember when pony tails used to be the style you did when there was no other option or because you just didn't care... well girls all over are transforming the ponytail into something gorgeous.
Check out some of my favorite Pinterest pony tail styles!

So, what are your favorite pony tail styles?
And can you imagine how much easier your life would be with Bela??

I am so excited to be sharing this wonderful new product from Garnier with all of you!
Not only am I going to be talking a little about my new favorite hair products, but I'm also going to show you how I just made a No-Sew lace headband!
I loved the way this headband turned out, so I immediately started trying out some new hairstyles with it.
Lucky for all of you, I'm going to be showing you how to do 3 of these hairstyles that pair great with the headband and are perfect for spring and summer!

Living in dry Utah, I'm always on the hunt for affordable hair products that will hydrate and bring new life to my hair.
While at my local Walmart the other day, I came across a display for Whole Blends Hydrating Hair Care products!
I was intrigued right away by the wonderful smell of the Coconut Water and Vanilla Milk scent, but what really sold me was all the benefits it contained for my hair.

I just need to tell you all a little about why I have fallen in love with this product.
All of the Whole Blends Hydrating Hair Care products give your hair wholesome loving care, and are blended perfectly for naturally beautiful hair.
What more could a girl want? Just wait, there's much more!
Garnier made sure to carefully select all the ingredients in their formulas and made them to nourish deeply, hydrate, and repair all hair types!
You really can't go wrong with any of the Whole Blends Hydrating Hair Care Products but I will vouch that the Coconut Water and Vanilla Milk blend is amazing!
Just smelling it made me feel like I was in Hawaii!
This particular product contains hydrating care for the thirstiest of hair. Aka... my hair!
It also quenches and softens de-hydrated hair which is everything I need living in such a dry state!
Right after using my Whole Blends Hydrating Hair Care I noticed how much more silky and smooth my hair felt.
I am totally hooked!

After using (and falling in love) with your new Whole Blends Hydrating Hair Care product, it is time to style it!
First, you'll need to learn how to make my DIY no-sew lace headband!
This is a super simple tutorial and takes 10 minutes max!

 Supplies needed:
Lace of choice
Elastic
Hot glue gun
Scissors
Felt

Instructions:
1. Measure your lace around your head and cut it when both sides hit just below your ear. Then measure your elastic to have it make up the difference. Cut that in half... you want it to be tight enough to stay on your head!
2. Hot glue the elastic to one side of lace.
3. Hot glue to the other to complete the circle.
4. Take a thin piece of felt and hot glue around the edges where the elastic and lace meet to secure and make it softer.
5. Complete! Just let it dry before wearing!

Are you ready for my hairstyles now?
I hope so! These are super fun and of course, super easy!
Each hairstyle takes 10 minutes or less, which is perfect for busy sunshine filled days!

This first one will probably work best on hair a little shorter than mine, but still looks great with any length!

The second one is definitely my favorite!

And this last one is perfect when you are on the go and just need something quick and fun!

I hope you enjoyed all of those!
I just love the way they turned out!
I know that I have my Whole Blends Hair Care products to thank for perfectly silky smooth hair that looks healthy and feels great!
I can't wait to continue using these products all summer long to keep my hair nourished.
I hope you decide to try out some of these styles and of course my new favorite hair products.

HASK Argan Oil

Wednesday, October 7, 2015

My hair has always been to my belt line.
Okay not always, but for years and years.
I've always been asked how I keep it so long yet so healthy.
I have to admit that most likely it's because I pretty much never use heat damage.
It goes in a "mom bun" almost every day.

However, I've noticed that it is very coarse and hard to brush.
I can't ever just run my fingers through my hair and there are always little fly away's.
I've been using cheap brands my whole life because I didn't want to spend a fortune on hair products.
It just didn't seem necessary.

Just recently I started using HASK Argan oil shampoo and conditioner and it has been a complete game changer!
I LOVE it!
Not only is it affordable but it has been working wonders on my hair.
My hair is so much softer and just looks even healthier.
I love the smell and how easily it washes out.
I honestly look forward to washing my hair every day. (which is actually quite a chore with this long of hair)
Since using HASK Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner my hair is so much more manageable.
I've been able to try out many new fun styles because it looks and feels so much healthier.

HASK products are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, artificial colors, drying alcohol, and gluten.
HASK has a variety of different exotic oil hair products designed to treat and repair particular hair types.
There are shampoos, conditioners, deep conditioners, and shine oils in their collection.
The different types of oil they offer are Argan oil, Macadamia Oil, Monoi Coconut Oil, Almond Oil, and Keratin Protein.
I have LOVED my Argan oil shampoo and conditioner so far.
It is meant to Strengthen and restore dry and damaged hair and has a very fresh orange citrus scent.
Argan oil, is known for its high absorbing, penetrating, and split-end repairing qualities while leaving hair soft and nourished.

I can testify that it truly does work and I am so happy with the results!
Head on over to HASK'S website and check out the variety of products they have!
They are awesome!

All my love,
Aleigh Joy
